With a background in audio engineering and a self-taught approach to production, they’ve been honing their craft for a decade. AUX is a beat tape made for car rides—those shared moments when the music takes over the conversation, or becomes the bed for one. These are tracks to talk over, rap over, vibe out to—no overthinking, just pure signal.
These are unpolished, raw instrumentals that demonstrate not only my pivot into heavier sampling but my pivot away from perfection. This tape was made during a very challenging time for me and I think that comes up in the rawness of these tracks. It comes up in the clashing frequencies and the stutters and the glitches. Taking the aux chord is a chance to tell your story and this tape is a chapter from mine.
